Mary sees individuals
( ages 10 to adult ), couples and families and specializes in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, relationship issues, grief/loss, anger and stress management, eating disorders and communication / assertiveness skills.
Mary received her BS degree in Psychology, in 1979, from Worcester State College in Massachusetts. She moved to Florida right after graduation and began her career with the State of Florida. She then obtained a MS degree from Nova University in 1984 in Counseling Psychology. Mary worked in several community agencies before establishing a private practice in 1997. She became a Certified Hypnotherapist in 1992 and a Radical Forgiveness Practitioner,in 2000 and a graduate of Landmark Forum in 2010. Mary has put more of a focus on spiritual practices and learned to read the Akashic Records in 2005 and became a Reiki Master in 2009.

Traditional psychotherapy
Mary offers a blend of cognitive and transpersonal therapy to assist people in managing symptoms, correcting faulty thoughts and beliefs and expressing emotion in a safe, non-judgmental environment. She teaches communication and assertiveness skills as well as anger and stress management.
Couple Counseling
Mary believes that relationships are our greatest teachers and healers. Problems in couple relationships frequently have roots in childhood. Mary provides a mix of uncovering childhood issues and patterns, that are being acted out in this relationship, with teaching communication skills. The focus is on creating a new relationship based on what the couple identifies as their ideal partnership.
There often can be difficult factors effecting problems in relationships such as infidelity, violence, addictions and mental health issues. If any of these are present, they must be addressed before couple counseling can be effective.

Healing, forgiveness and acceptance can be done in a way that is more meaningful and permanent. All hypnosis is self hypnosis and you also benefit from learning how to completely relax the body and the mind. This modality is very helpful in recovering from trauma, childhood abuse, OCD, low self esteem, phobias, etc.
Guided imagery journeys, past life regressions, relaxation techniques and other experiential exercises assist people in having an experience generated from their inner world and guided toward recovery and wholeness.

Mary was trained, in 2000, by Colin Tipping, to provide this spiritual therapy and workshops using this technology. Based on the book Radical Forgiveness, Making Room for a Miracle, the tools of Radical Forgiveness are easy to learn and people are able to heal and move forward from issues that have kept them out of peace or happiness.
